Kunal Mukherjee-Chakraborty
Kunal Mukherjee-Chakraborty is Interim Vice President - Digital Platforms, Products & Marketing Services at MARS Inc. He is also Senior Advisor to AlixPartners, the world's leading turnaround & restructuring firm. Kunal focuses on digital, data & AI enabled performance improvement & growth for retail & consumer companies -both pure-play and omni-channel. Before Alix, Kunal was Global Chief Digital & Customer Experience Officer for EssilorLuxottica Retail (formerly GrandVision) June 2017-Jan 2023. Kunal was a direct report to the Global CEO and led a digital transformation as well as digital commercial operations P&L across 30 brands 44 countries. Kunal set up a 300+ people Digital Hub and centralised e-commerce & omnichannel platforms, data & customer 360 platforms and ran global e-commerce & digital marketing business day-to-day. Prior to EssilorLuxottica, Kunal was one of the co-founders of Accenture's Digital Strategy practice in EMEA back in Jan 2015. He consulted Fortune 500, FTSE 100 and CAC 40 CEOs and helped them to develop their corporate digital strategies and helped executed the strategies by building Digital Hubs. Prior to Accenture, Kunal spent 9 years in two high-growth tech scale-ups in the UK and went through two IPOs in London Stock Exchange and later two separate trade exits. Kunal read MBA at INSEAD (Fontainebleau, France), Masters in Finance & Business from Cardiff, UK and Bachelors in Engineering & Particle Physics from India. He is British national of Indian origin having lived & worked in 6 countries.

Julien has experience working at Data Engineer and later Data Scientist at Amazon and Facebook. Most recently, as Global Head of Data Engineering at SwissRe's iptiQ, he played a key role in building the data platform, setting up the data engineering and business intelligence teams, and delivering impressive growth, enabling the $400 million revenue increase. Prior to this, Julien was the technical lead for the Customer 360 program at EssilorLuxottica Optical Retail (Grandvision), launching C360 in 13 different operating companies. In this role, he built the technical teams, set up the customer data platform, datalake, and introduced marketing automation and customer service tooling to drive better customer engagement. Earlier in his career, he was Head of Analytics for B2C ecommerce at Heineken, where he built the reporting and data platform from scratch.

Lourdes Arulselvan is a a seasoned data professional with a track record of success in building CDP and data products. With experience in leading global data architecture teams at GrandVision EssilorLuxottica, he has created customer-centric omnichannel marketing strategies that have helped generate value at scale. Prior to this, Lourdes led Data Products for Leaseplan, leading the predictive maintenance initiatives that generated significant business value for fleet managers, drivers, and workshops. This ultimately resulted in a $300 million estimated annual return for the leasing company. Lourdes has also worked with several organizations to help them migrate to open-source big data platforms and to build data products and data monetization use cases. His previous roles include Product Manager for Predictive Analytics, Adaptive Learning & Decisioning at Pegasystems, and was a software engineer working in cryptography at RSA. His experience in entrepreneurship has enabled him to help many companies unlock value from data and technology. He is passionate about bringing the right propositions to customers through the right channels to help them achieve maximum value.
